Again very pricey but if you are staying for a few days it evens out. The room welches a standard king that was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for two. We were provided a mini fridg gratis. The usual outrageously overpriced mini bar is present along with bottled water priced at the level of alcohol. Several newspapers are available free.
There welches plenty of room to move around even with all the luggage. The queen size beds were much appreciated by all and the large bathroom with separate tub and shower never felt crowded. We loved the back lawn area overlooking the water. We sat out there and had cocktails and played a Computerspiel of corn hole/bags with our sons.
The elevators certificates were out of date so that made us uncomfortable. One by 2 years! The staff was friendly..the buffet hinein the morning is by far the best part of this hotel. They offer far more options than a typical hotel buffet. Would definatly stay here again the proce welches right.
Positiv:: Everything. Starting with the deco going from the confortable rooms and ending with the amazing food.
Schön:: The Seaport Boston Hotel seems to have been recently upgraded, as the rooms are quite modern, comfortable and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the bedside buttons to Satz the door to privacy, and turn off the lights. I welches also impressed by the hotel's environmental focus. There were two bins in the room--one for trash and the other for recycling.
Manierlich:: We went for the 4th of July holiday and felt so comfortable rein the small and warmly decorated hotel. Being such a crowded weekend, we never felt overwhelmed due to the hotel being near MIT and no school hinein session over the summer.
Schön:: Great location! We were able to walk to many local attractions and restaurants. The hotel room and bathroom were quite spacious. We had 4 adults in one room since one of ur sons lives hinein the building next door. We figured we would Beryllium at his apartment most of the time and wanted to save on rooms.
Negativ:: Wifi welches terrible. You couldn't even get high speed wireless rein the lobby. You had to pay for it and even then it welches spotty at best. For the money we paid for the room, reliable internet service is not too much to ask.
Very inconvenient if carrying any see post bags from the car and also because of sub-zero temps that weekend. Also no hinein and out access for self parking at $40 per night. If you leave you have to pay again.
Negativ:: The pull out couch bed was awful! It welches like a bed of springs with a blanket on top. Pretty much like sleeping on a bed of nails. Sleeping comfortably is the main focus of a hotel stay, so this welches very disappointing.
Fortunately, they had another room available, and they told us it was an upgrade (it wasn’t), but it was tonlos a process to have to pack all of ur stuff up and move it. No discount welches offered for the inconveniece. Otherwise the stay would have been perfect.
Negativ:: on the 3rd floor we heard EVERYTHING outside! (the club across the street, the trucks back up alarms) The bathroom door welches a pocket door and was REALLY hard to close.
Negativ:: Wedding music was loud & heard on the 6th floor. You should have better toilet paper & kleenex.
Jonathan at front desk welches the standout employee that made ur stay even better. He had great tips, suggestions for sights & food and truly made us welcome.
